Best Dog-Friendly Fall Activities

A fun activity for every city Spot walks in!

  1. Calgary – Plan a dog walk to see the Beltine Murals.

If you haven’t already noticed, the Beltine area in Calgary is looking a lot more colourful. Since the BUMP (Beltline Urban Mural Project) launched in September there have been new murals popping up, with 11 now spread throughout the downtown area. Checking out these murals are perfect for a crisp fall walk with your pup! In fact, we’d love to see your photos in front of them!

Find a map of existing murals here, so you can plan your fall afternoon walk ahead of time.

  2. Edmonton – Explore the trails in the North Saskatchewan River Valley.

Enjoy the incredible fall colours spread throughout the North Saskatchewan River Valley with your pup by your side. Whether you want to go for a casual walk or a challenging hike, there are 150km of trails to choose from. This is a great opportunity to get friends or family outside to enjoy what’s left of fall. Your dog will love to explore the open space, getting you both outside for some exercise, or to capture the perfect fall Instagram picture. (Tag us by the way!)

  3. Victoria – Meander through The Butchart Gardens.

Your dog can come along and smell the roses at Victoria’s Butchart Gardens. As long as your Spot is on his or her leash, they’re allowed in! With 55 acres of gardens to navigate, both you and Spot will get your daily exercise in. The Butchart Gardens also has events throughout the year, like Greenhouse tours throughout the month of November. Bring a few pals and explore the all the beautiful colours the gardens have to offer.

As always, sent with slobbery kisses,
Spot xox
